Sam Cobb

Born in Oxford, soprano Samantha Cobb is now based in London, enjoying a varied career as both soloist and ensemble singer. She has sung with professional choral groups including Britten Sinfonia Voices, Ex Cathedra, and the Monteverdi Choir, with whom she was awarded a place on their Apprentice Scheme 2019-20. Samantha also forms part of the young professional vocal ensemble ‘echo’, in which she both sings and acts as Co-Artistic Director. Recent solo engagements include: Second Woman in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Ryedale Festival Opera, July 2019; Adina, Donzietti’s L’elisir d’amore with Integra Opera, July 2019; and Handel’s Semele in an education project with Alexandra Palace and the Monteverdi Choir, April 2019.
