Louis read Music at St John’s College, Cambridge and sang in the College Choir under Andrew Nethsingha. In Cambridge he performed as a soloist in operas by Mozart, Handel, and in various works by J.S. Bach. He was selected for the Pembroke Lieder Scheme where he received masterclasses with Toby Spence and Joseph Middleton.
