Oxford Bach Soloists is thrilled to introduce our 2026/27 season! The year will feature J.S. Bach’s English Suites, as well as a celebration of the 300th anniversary of the St Matthew Passion.
BACH: ENGLISH SUITES
A new six-part series from the Oxford Bach Soloists featuring Bach’s English Suites BWV 806-811 for harpsichord performed by our Artistic Director, Steven Grahl, and our co-principal keyboardists, Anhad Arora and Dónal McCann. These virtuosic suites abound with lively Baroque dances and showcase Bach’s exceptional talent for keyboard writing, and will feature alongside other works by Bach and his contemporaries.
All English Suites concerts will take place on Saturdays at 2.30pm at Pusey House Chapel, Oxford.

ST MATTHEW PASSION – 300th Anniversary
You are invited to experience J.S. Bach’s dramatic masterpiece, the St Matthew Passion. 2027 marks the 300th anniversary of this monumental work, which tells the story of the Passion in an expansive, yet deeply personal way. Under the baton of our Artistic Director Steven Grahl, don’t miss the mammoth double choruses, poignant chorales, and heart-breaking arias.
