This is Oliver Turner, our Administrator.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your background.
I am a baritone currently singing at Guildford Cathedral, as well as around London and the south-east. I started singing when I was probably in Manchester by competing in local singing festivals around Altrincham where I grew up. I now work for OBS organising the Saïd Business School conducting workshops.
How long have you been working with OBS and what has been a highlight?
I have been with OBS professionally for around 2 and a half years, however I started as a choral scholar in 2023 and I would say my biggest highlight has been the first London concert OBS performed at St James’ Piccadilly in 2024.
What do you enjoy most about working with OBS?
I personally love singing at the SBS workshops, it’s a fascinating process of introducing someone to a way of thinking and leading that is often completely alien to them.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I’m currently trying to learn to sew (with mixed results) and I enjoy fencing!
