Helen Parker joins OBS as our latest team member
Friends of OBS joining us on Christmas Eve will have the opportunity to meet our new Friends Coordinator, Helen Parker. We are delighted to welcome Helen to the team; her role will be to act as the first point of contact for Friends.
As many of you will know, Helen is a wonderful and accomplished soloist and consort singer, and she has appeared with, amongst many others, Richard Hickox and Sir Simon Rattle as well groups such as The Tallis Scholars and The English Concert. Helen has performed on the soundtrack of countless movies including the latest Dr Doolittle, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Alice in Wonderland. Recent projects have included an immersive production of Gluck’s Orfeo at the Oxford Festival, Malta Three Palaces Festival and Wilton’s Music Hall. She also teaches in many varying situations such as corporate team building workshops, Frideswide Voices at Christ Church Cathedral, as well as New College School.
We are so grateful to Helen for coming on board and look forward to building relationships as you attend concerts and events across the coming months.
